We made it!

Heh, Well as most of you know My mom and I planned a trip down to Greenville, SC. We made it down to Greenville, but not without some difficulty...

Friday Night/Early Saturday Morning-- We had gotten all out bags packed and then we headed
out the door around 3AM. Yeah, AM. We drove down to Green Bay where our flight was supposed to leave at 6AM. It did... but we weren't on it. Due to the huge line we missed our flight. We then had to figure out what to do next. We were given a number to call to help us, so I tried it. The machine that answered said it would take over 30 minutes to get in contact with a representative...and to "Please hold." I didn't feel like listening to the jazzy music and advertisements so I hung up and tried again... several times. No results occurred. Mom however, noticed a public TTY (in essence it's a machine that deaf people use to talk on the phone--almost like Instant Messaging.) so she called the number. She connected to a representative right away and was able to book us for the next possible flight out. God is so good to us!

Well, we flew out at 1:15 PM (after a decent breakfast and a long 6 hour wait) and our journey really began. The flight was smooth. No complications or anything. We landed in Detroit and stayed there for quite a while because the planed we were supposed to fly out on was late. So we ate pizza.

Other than it being late the second flight was great. To the right you can see a shot of Green Bay--the actual bay on Lake Michigan. When we arrived at Charlotte Uncle Lenny and Aunt Barb were there to pick us up, and after a short wait for the luggage we left the airport ne'er to return... that day. After passing the "Yellow Mall" we stopped at a Cracker Barrel to get something to eat. After that we went to Grandma's house for some much needed rest. (I hadn't slept since I woke up Friday morning).

Today-- We woke up somewhat early and got dressed and ready for Church. I had a bowl of cereal and then we went out the door to Grace Bible Church. Both services were great. The first one was awesome as Tyler quoted today's passage from James and Julia Huff played a special of "Before the Throne of God Above" on her violin. After the first service We went out to eat with the Farnsworths, the Hendricks, the Broadwaters, and the Huffs. The meal was great and we had tons of fun. The second service was great as well. Both this morning's and this evening's messages were from James 4. We left kind of early though, because of a business meeting after the service. We went and got a milkshake at sonic after we left.

(The people in the picture to the left are as follows: Corey, Stephen B, Brady, Tyler, Julia, and Charity. Yes I know there is no flash on the picture and it's kinda blurry... it's because Jessie didn't take the pic)

Such leads me to here: typing on Grandma's computer and checking my e-mail. So, 'till next time--See ya!

Comments:
Hey Joey! You have no clue how much people can be missed in a matter of 1 hour :P

Miss ya and love ya! Maybe you'll actually learn how to use the camera this trip :P I'm going through camera withdrawl, so can't wait till you're back.

Say hi to GRandma & Grandpa for me, and all the teens there at Grace! Give 'em me blog link too! :)

Does FOley still have wacky hair? How is everyone there?

Whoa, awesome pics from the airplane! I like the view of the square agricultural grids. Neat stuff! =D

I understand about the last pic; it's hard to take non-blurry pics in a low-light environment--you need to keep the camera really still. :|

Too bad we couldn't meet up with you guys on Saturday. It just wasn't meant to work out I guess. :(

Hey Joey. Glad you made it there okay. The pics from the plane are pretty neat. I will have to show them to my kids. Hope you both are having a nice time. Tell Your mom I said "HI". See you both next week. Mrs. Neeley :)
